This set of woofers are the standard type (non-shielded version), not the shielded variation. Same high quality speaker. Contact me if this is not clear
Look closely at the pictures. I have uploaded some actual pictures of the most recent set we sold. Please keep in mind they are representative. I have taken pictures with and without flash. You can see the finish on the cones and is exaggerated by the flash. These woofers are brand new and never used - NOS. You will not see any of those minor imperfections once you mount it. It is hard to even see any of that under normal lighting. Contact me if you have any questions. We also have this same set in another listing selling as singles if you only need only one woofer.

Peerless (Vifa) - Here is a great 8.00" 12 ohm woofer that will be a great for your next custom home theater project system or as a nice replacement woofer for many existing speaker systems. High-gloss treated cone with a quality rubber surround. Made by Peerless, this woofer can be found used in many retail home theater speaker systems. 12 Ohm woofer makes it easy to use in multiples and still keep the overall impedance in a safe range for most home theater receivers and amps. Running 2 of them in parallel and still have a 6 ohm load. Take a look at it's great specs below.
