    Description

This listing is for an antique annunciation circuit board machine. This is a real amazing piece of architectural salvage.
An annunciator machine is an electric device used in Victorian buildings and large homes, enabling one to request service from a servant, butler, or maid.
When a button is pushed in another room, an electric current is run and a flag is raised on the circuit board, alerting staff to the room in request of assistance.
This annunciation came from a large home that was located in Birmingham, England. It is by M. Sadler.
This piece features lovely mahogany wood, and reverse painted glass with stars of David.
The story was that the owners of the home were Jewish. When the elders passed in the 1990s, there was an estate auction, which included physical pieces of the home, including the annunciator.
The annunciator was purchased and brought to Los Angeles.
    This one measures 24 x 21 x 4 inches
