Antique,Green Porcelain" WEBER"Turnstile

Description

Thie item came out of an old Dry Goods and Drug Store and maybe train station located in the near ghost town of Verhalen Texas. A very rare find.  The turn wing is 42" wide and weights 38lbs. Its stand is 32" tall and weights 28 lbs with 9.5" base. The other 3 stands are about 30" tall weighting 20lbs each with a 7.5" base. The curved piece is 31" long,3.5" at the widest point and weights about 8lbs.   The white fence rails are not original, they are made from 1.5" ridged conduit. The turn wing turns freely. As you can see from the photos, there is some chipped porcelain in several spots but not enough to really hurt the value. The set screws for the pipe are froze up, however the 1.5" ridged conduit fits real tight.Not sure of its age.I would put it in the mid 1930s to low 1940s. Local pick up is free. Don't let this pass you by as it is RARE as rocking horse poop and would look fantastic in your
garden or game room.
