Offered for your consideration is a great vintage piece of Chicago history.  This fabulous tile façade brick was made by the Northwestern Terra Cotta Co in the 1920’s.  This company provided terra cotta bricks and tiles for many of the famous architects such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Louis Sullivan.  Many of the landmark buildings in Chicago have decorative elements provided by this company.  The brick is classic Art Deco with a fabulous incised design.  It is glazed a brown terra cotta color with flecks of black and gray.  The tile is in very good condition.  It has minor scrapes here and chips that would not be visible with installation.  It measures 10 inches across by 5 inches wide and 2 ¼ inches thick.   This is a great piece of Chicago’s Architectural history and the perfect addition to your home.  Thanks for your bid!
