  • Condition: Freshly rebuilt Astron RS35A power supply. All new pass transistors, latest version regulator board with board mounted SCR, dual paralleled KBPC50- 10 50A 1000 PIV bridge rectifiers (I had them in the parts box). A couple of scratches on top cover (see pics). Drops 0.007V under CW key down load (20A) of Icom 706IIG transceiver at 100w output. Rated at 35A ICAS.

    Description

    For sale is an Astron RS 35A linear (not switching) power supply that has just been rebuilt. Unit shows just a few minor scratches on the top cover. Displays excellent regulation under load and has the latest regulator board, SCR and pass transistors from Astron. I used oversized bridge rectifiers in parallel (50A ea. 1000 PIV) to replace the factory 35A units because I had two left over from another power supply project. This is a heavy supply that produces no RF noise. It is excess to my needs.
