Has a mesh storage pocket and uses a clamp and gasket ring to seal out the moisture, but I can't confirm the Maker's claim that the unit is really "waterproof". I would say it is more likely "water resistant". I used my Samsung Cell phone to try out the speaker. It worked, but the volume wasn't as loud as I expected.     Good Times Yellow Water Proof Speaker Case - Ipods, Cell Phones, MP3 Players
    I used my Samsung Cell phone to try out the unit.  It fit well, even with my rubber case still on the phone.  See the photos for unit measurements, so you will know the unit you have in mind will fit the enclosure.
