    Description

    I have owned this container many years and had many discussions on it's use and still have no idea. To me it appears to be a wood box that was done in pyrography and has some ink drawing as well. It is dove tail construction and looks like hand done. It measures about 10" x 9" x 9". Does have some cracks in the wood and no lid, if in fact it ever had one. It is just a great piece of Americana and tobacco collectible. I believe it is old and not any sort of new reproduced item.
