Capacitors in the crossovers degrade with time. Replacing them will bring the crossover back to factory specs. Some type AL-3 crossovers are over 15 years old and there is a good chance that at least some of the original capacitors are bad by now. This is a set of the components you would need to rebuild your Klipsch type AL-3 crossovers found in many of the Klipsch LaScala Speakers. Parts are included to rebuild a pair of these crossovers. Two polyswitches are included to replace originals in the tweeter protection circuit. The capacitors for the signal path are high quality Sonicaps. Two Nonpolorized Electrolytics are included to replace like caps in the woofer circuit. Mounting pads and tie wraps are included for mounting the capacitors on the crossover boards. A schematic is also included to assist you in the rebuild. You would need some soldering skills to complete this rebuild. Payment is to be by Paypal or Credit Card by Phone.
