Vintage (1992) Marlboro Scrolling Red LED Sign

Vintage (1992) Marlboro Programmable Scrolling sign with plug in remote to add your own graphics or message... but I don’t know how to work the controller, or if it needs a anything else. The Marlboro sign is in “used” condition but looks good. It’s dual-sided (one side slightly more faded than the other) and backlit, the lights come on and the LED message begins to scroll as soon as it’s plugged in.
